Three GCC meetings were held after the May 14 and May 28 elections. I attended the first two meetings and expressed my views very clearly. I shared my feelings and thoughts directly, speaking from the middle of the book, without moving the words to the right or left. The only thing that needs to be done in this process is to talk and take action after talking. Einstein has a nice saying; ''Mind means exhibiting the same behavior and not expecting different results''. Unfortunately, we continue to do the same things and expect different results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The capital of commerce is money, the capital of politics is people. The more people believe in you, your party, your companions and the Chairman at the head of the party, the more successful you will be. It is essential in politics to walk the path by increasing people, not by reducing them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At this point, unfortunately, as a party, we continue on our way by losing people. Our number of members is decreasing day by day and unfortunately we are still trying to boast that we are the fifth largest party in Turkey in terms of number of members. I repeat what I have conveyed to Mr. Chairman from the very beginning: the members' information should be taken, a letter should be written to them immediately and they should be honored. If this had been done from the beginning, we would have learned how many active, real members we have today and whether their loyalty to our party continues or not. The answer to those who will ask what this will serve is very simple; Political parties are strong with their members, they stay strong with the bond of belonging they establish with them. First of all, they must protect their own members, give them confidence, tell them we are here, give them a voice so that new members can join the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Political parties are successful with people who are successful in their fields, who have proven themselves, or, more accurately, who have saved themselves, with members of the organization. Those who are not good for themselves will not be of much help or contribution to either their party or the country. The first thing to consider when choosing a man is; It is to choose people who have achieved material and spiritual satisfaction and have completed their basic struggle in life. When such people are not elected, those who are elected instead of them do not raise their voices against wrong decisions, they do not object, they do not dare to object, they remain silent with the motivation to protect the current position. This silence is the most dangerous thing for a Chairman and a party, perhaps the beginning of the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of course, one of the questions that needs to be asked here is; Why are low-profile people who have not completed their basic struggle for life in a structure preferred? Is it the idea that order should continue, that there should not be too many loud noises or objections? We should all ask ourselves this question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before the elections, some of our colleagues, especially the Chairman, argued that it was not possible for us to enter the elections alone, that the organizational structure and human resources of the party were obvious, and that the wisest option in this case was to make an alliance with the CHP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Well, if the state of the structure and organizations is obvious and we are not in a position to run an election on our own, why have the necessary steps not been taken to improve the structure in a long period of five years, from the previous election to today, that is, from 2018 to today?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why was no importance given to organizations that existed on paper but did not actually exist, and even if they existed, they could not show much of a presence?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When the Democratic Party is mentioned, the first name that comes to mind for people over a certain age is Mr. Adnan Menderes and the deceased's hometown is Ayd\u0131n. There can and should not be any excuse for the lack of a complete organization in Ayd\u0131n. In terms of political loyalty and respect for the past, provinces and districts in Ayd\u0131n should be exemplary. We do not have an organization in more than half of the 17 districts in Ayd\u0131n province, including the center. Why has there been no intervention here until today?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although the party's exemplary organization should be Ayd\u0131n, unfortunately today even the provincial congress seems crowded thanks to the people coming from the surrounding provinces, and it is a pity that only 38 people were present and the congress could be held. Among these 38 people, the votes of 3 people were considered blank. How can this be explained? How is it that full organization has not yet been achieved even in Ayd\u0131n? Doesn't this situation upset or make anyone think, especially the Chairman?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although it does not seem possible to correct the structure in all 81 provinces with this mentality and working method in the short term, why were not 20-25 pilot provinces selected?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why haven't our human resources and power been used more logically?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although I have told this suggestion (the suggestion of focusing on 20-25 provinces where our base is) to Mr. Chairman for the two years I have been in office, no action has been taken. Not only me, but also some of my colleagues who are administrators in the party have stated that although they presented this suggestion to the Chairman in the past, they did not receive a response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why were the organizations in these provinces, which were chosen with common sense, not corrected within a period of five years? While the difficulties of achieving results in 81 provinces are known and accepted by everyone, why have we not taken steps within our power?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why have no structures been established in these 20-25 provinces to say we are in the elections?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of course, it is not very easy to get results in the whole of Turkey when the reality of ruling alone is obvious and the power of the party ruling alone is obvious, but getting results in 20-25 provinces was not very difficult for the 77-year-old plane tree, but unfortunately this was not done, there was a lot to be done in proportion to our power. Unfortunately, many things were not done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the last point, why was no action taken even though the fact that the main opposition party CHP had given two seats to the DEMOCRATIC PARTY was learned by the Chairman and some administrators, 48 hours before the lists were delivered? Why was this information not shared by calling the party's authorized committees, especially the council and G\u0130K, to an emergency meeting? Why was nothing done in 48 hours? If it were not for Mr. Cemal Enginyurt's last minute effort, the number of deputies, which was 2, would not even be 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the 2018 elections, if sincere and heartfelt letters had been written to the members I mentioned above, if studies had been carried out in focus groups on these members, if studies had been carried out decisively only on our members, we would have had at least 600,000 votes in our pocket after the wastages, taking into account the spouse situation. However, if the 20-25 provinces where our base is located were specifically selected, our organizational structure was corrected there, and the necessary steps were taken, rest assured, we would be in a much better place than where we are today. None of these have been done for years and continue to be done. Sometimes one cannot help but ask oneself, why are these not being done? Why aren't steps taken to gain people? Or is there another project that we don't know about?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our Chairman and Member of Parliament were the first to mention the name Kemal K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7daro\u011flu within the six-person table, and in that period, while even the CHP members did not support their own Chairman and there was no statement of support from other political parties, some of our executives gave serious criticism to Kemal Bey on social media and TV programs. They supported him, at this point, despite the six parties, the Ince factor and the economic crisis, Mr. Kemal K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7daro\u011flu lost, this is a very heavy defeat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While the political party that gave the first and most serious support was the DEMOCRATIC PARTY, unfortunately, the political party that received the least number of seats from the quota was again the DEMOCRATIC PARTY. Life is mathematics, mathematics and statistics are never wrong, we need to look at our political opponents and ask ourselves what we did and what we got as a result. If we exclude the \u0130Y\u0130 Party among our political rivals, they put one, took ten and got fifteen, even though the others had no difference from us in terms of power or votes. What did we put? What did we buy? Who is REALLY RESPONSIBLE for this?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is not a result that will be easily forgotten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the election defeat, I was the first to resign in the Presidency as Faik Tunay, then our Secretary General Serhan Y\u00fccel, then our Party Spokesperson Neslihan \u00c7evik resigned, we all resigned of our own accord, and our replacements were appointed on Saturday, July 22. I wholeheartedly congratulate our newly elected friends and wish them success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Will making new appointments to replace people who resigned voluntarily be considered change?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Will it be enough to make a few changes in the presidential council? These changes are appointments made instead of people who resigned with their own consent, which means that no one still takes responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The endless support given to the loser Kemal K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7daro\u011flu has not been rewarded, and the mistakes continue after the election. Recep Tayyip Erdo\u011fan clearly won the elections, Mr. K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7daro\u011flu, who lost four general elections, two local elections and two referendums before, lost again. There is no point in dwelling on this matter, the picture is very clear, the dear Turkish nation will not win the election for Mr. K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7daro\u011flu, What is Kemal Bey's insistence on when this fact is obvious?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why is Kemal Bey praised more than CHP members?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 77-year-old grand DEMOCRATIC PARTY should urgently chart its own course and aim to win the mayoralty in fifty districts with a population of nearly 100,000 in local elections. This is the realistic goal. For this, immediate action should be taken, these target districts should be identified, the organizational structure should be corrected, the right staff should be selected, and political mobilization should be initiated. If these are not done, what should we do at the first GCC meeting to be held after eight months? Is there a staff? Was human nature suitable? We had our own power, the excuses will be listed as they are today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since we heard these sentences after the May 28 elections, we can see what will happen. Action must be taken urgently today to avoid encountering them again, they are working against the party every day. Candidates in the districts targeted for local elections should be determined in a short time and shared with the public in an ambitious meeting with wide participation on December 1 at the latest. The person who will correct the things that went wrong is the Chairman, what should we do if those who do not correct the mistakes after the results are revealed and those who do not show the will to correct them? There is no right to say that this was the structure or organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CHP is focused on internal party problems, as it is after every election. It is a deplorable situation that the main opposition is in this situation, while the ruling party started working for the local elections immediately after the election victory and was struggling to find candidates who could win in places where it lost. What is happening is too much to explain with freedom of expression and opinion. These are big political mistakes and mistakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The situation of the main opposition does not concern us, it is an internal problem of each party, but what concerns us is that we are following the leader of the main opposition, not paving our own way, and being in a position to defend the leader of the main opposition, who is harshly criticized in public, even by his own supporters. The only thing to do is; Minding our own business, fixing our organizational structure, solving problems permanently by taking immediate action WITHOUT SPREADING TIME, without saying "we'll fix it, we'll see" and be ready for local elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am not going to tell you the story of the election slogan "Silke S\u00fcleyman, they will fall", which was produced by the people and entered our political history, but I would like to remind you of something the late Demirel said to a visiting delegation in 2007. When the delegation told him to come and take over the government, let's overthrow and shake off the government, he took out his identity card from his pocket and said, bring this down by ten years, then it will be okay, youth is essential to fight against the government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the youth; determination, solving problems before they escalate, choosing the right team, knowing how to ask, appreciating those who work in the real sense and those who produce new ideas, standing behind the employees in the real sense, adding people to the team who will object, contribute, and offer alternative solutions to what is objected to, rather than approving everything that is said. choosing and most importantly, walking with people who honor the past and dream of the future. Politics is a matter of CLAIM, it is not possible for someone who does not have a claim to get results or be successful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While we had one MP after the 2018 elections, today we have three MPs and the number of municipalities we have is clear. The point we have reached is not a desired, desired picture that suits the 77-year-old grand plane tree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although it is pleasing for all of us that Mr. Chairman is more visible and given more space in the media during the alliance process with the six-party table, it should not be seen as a great success. It is pleasing that our Chairman, who has been the Chairman since 2012, has been featured in the media for the past two years, but unfortunately, we cannot look here and look to the future with much hope. The available media channels are those that oppose the government, the viewers of these channels are mainly CHP and \u0130Y\u0130 PARTY voters, of course it is important to be visible here, it is very positive, it makes everyone happy, but it will not be enough for a political party that has been a great plane tree for 77 years and our Chairman who has been the Chairman for 11 years. These are not achievements to be proud of, and being content with them would only suit people who have the mentality that no matter how small, it's ours. At the end of the day, the golden rule in politics is the vote you get. Being on TV and being visible in the media is of course important, but the issue is how much it reflects on the vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The elections are over and unfortunately the opposition still has not made any self-criticism and insists on not doing so. The rhetoric used before the election still continues, no lessons are learned from the mistakes, it is not said that Mr. Erdo\u011fan won and we lost despite all the conditions in our favor, along with all these, CHP, the largest political party of the six-party table, 's internal fights continue to take place in front of the public. If it continues like this, I'm afraid it will result in disappointment in the local elections. A mayoralty and 100-200 municipal council members that CHP is rumored to give to our party throughout Turkey will not be something that would suit our party. The party should cut its own belly and nominate its candidates and say I am in the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The facts revealed by CHP Chairman Mr. Kemal K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7daro\u011flu's protocol with the Victory Party Chairman Mr. \u00dcmit \u00d6zda\u011f, whom he hastily included in the alliance last week, in a TV program he participated in, are painful. It is astonishing and painful that a Chairman who accuses his political rival of one-manism and whose discourses amount to insults in this regard, made an alliance with another leader four or five days before the elections, and did not share this alliance with the leaders of the political parties that formed the table of six, let alone with his own Deputy Chairman. It is an event. How long will we walk together with this mentality?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the DEMOCRATIC PARTY, in order to continue on our way having learned from our mistakes, in order to win fifty districts in the local elections, in order to be ready for the next general elections after the local elections, we need to make an internal reckoning, and the way to do this is to convene the congress. Everyone who wants to have a say in the congress, every party member, should go to the podium and speak and explain their problems. The congress should be a congress worthy of the 77-year-old great plane tree. Everyone should shed their stones and continue on their way by becoming stronger in unity and solidarity, without division. Speeches should be made not about individuals, but about management style and business style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is said that our esteemed Chairman, as always, shares his opinion with a very narrow circle and plans a congress in November or December. If there is a decision in this direction, then there is no point in waiting, the congress should be convened immediately in August. If Mr. Chairman is to continue on his way as a result of the congress, he must adopt the new management approach, focus on winning, write the codes of our party according to the government, not the opposition. It should consist of people who will create a political culture and who burn with the dream of power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
None If the Chairman will not continue his path, the same conditions should also apply to the newly elected Chairman. DEMOCRATIC PARTY, Turkey's second oldest political party, the last Prime Minister of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atat\u00fcrk, the Galip Hoca of the national struggle, the party of Celal Bayar, the registered brand of the center right, should not be in this situation. For those whose main goal is to win people, there are many people to win, for those who want to do business, there are many things to be done, and for those who want to walk the path, there are many paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
