Participating in a live broadcast on Habertürk TV on the night of October 23, 2026, Tunay evaluated the poll by Betimar Research.

Stating, "The ruling party's rival is not the CHP; because it is not, the AK Party has been in power for 24 years," Tunay said, "As long as Erdoğan is alive, this picture will continue like this, but after him, the alternative in this country will be the CENTER RIGHT."

Noting that the Turkish people mostly position themselves in the center, regardless of right or left, Tunay stated that due to current conditions and the lack of an exciting center-right party and leader, voters are inevitably stuck between the ruling party and the main opposition (AK Party, CHP - New Party).
