Within the scope of his visits to Izmir, Tunay visited the President of the Izmir Chamber of Agricultural Engineers, Hakan Çakıcı, together with the Democratic Party Izmir Provincial Chairman Serdar Faralyalı and the members of the board of directors, and listened to the problems of the agricultural sector in Izmir, especially Tire, Menderes and Bergama, from the president and took notes.
He said that during the AKP government, agriculture came to an end in Izmir, as in all parts of Turkey, and that AKP's love for concrete and construction brought agriculture to this state.
