Tunay, who was a live broadcast guest on HaberGlobal channel on August 7, 2025, claimed that the US’s main concern was China and that it was spending all its time behind the scenes on this.
He stated that within ten years, China will be the world's number one economically, but that this is impossible in terms of cultural hegemony. Tunay stated that the American dream model, although waning today, still exists. He added, "95% of young people still want to go to America and settle down there. No one wants to go and live in China. That's something else entirely. That's what cultural hegemony is all about."
